R4R took me here.

This was fantastic, man, and sort of falls under one of my favorite genres of music. It felt like Portishead or Massive Attack had a baby with Enigma and gave it a piano. Very well done. What program do you use? Is that a real piano?

I'm about to go out so I don't have the time to listen to it without my fancy headphones but it sounds like it's pretty well mastered. I mention that because I usually check how my stuff sounds on tiny speakers (like in my laptop), on good quality headphones, and on big speakers (in my car), so that anyone listening with any kind of speaker will have a good time.

I did notice that when it peaks, some of the percussion is over powered. It's not a bad thing, really, because it's not like I couldn't hear it at all; just the presence of the snare got a lot shorter, for example. Do you know what I mean? It's entirely forgivable with those strings, though.

5/5.

Hey thank you! Your kind words mean a lot! I used Reaper as the DAW, lots of synths made in NI Massive and the piano samples in East West Quantum Leap Colossus. Great library of samples. I can't take much credit for how good those sound, hah.

I'm still pretty novice when it comes to mixing/production/mastering. I see what you mean regarding the snare. I'm still at the point where I'm trying to balance out a sound's strength with it's tendency to choke other parts of the mix.

Thanks again for the feedback!

I make music. I am putting music here in hopes that someone might like it enough to put it in a game. That is my goal.
